Nairobi Hospital Suspends Operations in Six Clinics after Medic Contracted COVID-19

KENYA – Premier health provider Nairobi Hospital, has announced an immediate suspension of operations at all its six satellite clinics as it grapples with fears of the dreaded Coronavirus pandemic. In a move said to have been influenced by an incident, where a clinical officer at the Galleria branch of Nairobi Hospital tested positive for COVID-19.

The management led by Chief Executive Officer Dr Allan Pamba has decided to recall all staff to the main hospital and said that the COVID-19 virus poses a serious challenge to the resilience of Kenya’s healthcare system.
